Web UI/UX Designer

for our client, a hardware‑software combination company pushing technological boundaries in San Francisco, CA!

This is a full‑time, direct hire position offering a hybrid schedule in San Francisco. Los Angeles‑based candidates will also be considered.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design User‑Centric Web Interfaces:

Craft intuitive, engaging, and high‑performance web designs for our website, including product detail pages, onboarding flows, checkout processes, and key conversion pathways.

Simplify Complex AI Features:

Translate sophisticated AI functionalities into clear, compelling visual flows, enhancing user understanding and engagement across global markets.

Optimize Conversion & Growth:

Collaborate with product managers on A/B testing experiments, refining designs to boost conversion rates and membership engagement. Focus on mobile‑first optimization and reduce friction across user journey stages.

Develop & Maintain Design Systems:

Contribute to scalable, reusable web design components aligned with our global brand identity, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and high quality during implementation.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration:

Partner closely with our Brand, Product, Engineering, and Growth teams to align visual storytelling, feature clarity, technical implementation, and data‑driven experiments.

Deliver Exceptional Results:

Achieve a website that feels modern, premium, and differentiated, effectively communicating complex AI features while driving user engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS

3-8 years of web UI/UX design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing work on AI, SaaS, or high‑end digital products.

Proven experience designing for fast‑growing brands or startups.

Deep understanding of conversion‑focused UX principles and best practices.

Strong systems thinking and interaction design skills, with proficiency in Figma and modern design workflows.

Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work seamlessly across teams including engineering, marketing, and product.

A passion for creating scalable, clean, and impactful digital experiences.

Note: Recent startup experience is preferred. Candidates with freelance backgrounds are welcome but should demonstrate a strong trajectory in scalable product design.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
This full‑time position offers an annual base salary range of $150-180k, commensurate with experience, in addition to performance bonuses and equity.
