Overview
WBFF/WNUV is looking for a full‑time Political Photographer with a passion for local and national government coverage. The candidate should have at least one year of ENG experience with a network affiliate news organization.

Responsibilities
Day to day, you will cover local Baltimore City and Maryland politics, and in‑depth investigative assignments. Covering the 90‑day legislative session is a requirement. You will shoot full high‑definition content on media cards and edit on desktops and laptops using the Adobe suite. You should have strong editing skills in non‑linear edit systems, a strong understanding of creating text‑on‑screen graphics and document manipulation, excellent people skills, a strong work ethic, and a great attitude. A keen understanding of editing vertical videos and social media posts is a plus. A strong interest to grow in the world of political reporting is absolutely essential.

Requirements and Qualifications

At least one year of shooting experience and technical knowledge of editing and photography equipment

Teamplayer who can produce good stories under tight deadlines

Valid driver’s license, good driving record and ability to operate ENG news vehicles

Ability to edit and shoot general assignment stories, live shots and natural sound packages

Must be able to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds on a regular basis

Ability to do sit‑down interviews with multiple cameras, including secondary gear like DSLRs, Osmo/GoPro, and phone

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly compensation range is $23.08 to $28.25, with final compensation based on experience, skills, certifications and geographic location. Full‑time positions include benefits such as a retirement plan, quarterly and annual incentive plan bonuses, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave and an employee stock purchase plan.
