The Amazon Advertising business is growing rapidly and this team’s mission is to apply technology to accelerate that growth through best‑in‑class software engineering, data engineering, and business intelligence.
As part of the Sales Technology team, our goal is to deliver best‑in‑class products and data solutions to improve the effectiveness of Amazon Advertising’s sales teams worldwide. We build sales enablement products for the front‑line sales team, turning large data sets and disparate systems into actionable, insight‑driven products that help sales teams serve brands and small businesses on Amazon.
We are looking for a candidate who enjoys working with end users, developing customer‑focused UX, workflows, and web services, and solving business problems with extensible software solutions. You will work on massive‑scale systems, gain experience in cloud computing, LLMs, and collaborate with a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial team.
Key Job Responsibilities Be heavily involved with design and product teams to understand needs, propose features, create early prototypes, and transform them into exciting experiences.
Propose innovative tools, frameworks, automations, and processes used by the entire services team for development.
Write clean, maintainable code and perform peer code reviews.
Deep‑dive into client or server systems to optimize for performance, maintainability, scalability, and extensibility as needed.
Mentor team members to promote engineering excellence.
Basic Qualifications 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) for new or existing systems.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
