What You'll Do Own day-to-day social content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, X, and LinkedIn — from ideation through posting.
Shoot and edit short-form content independently — interviews, b-roll, graphics, text-on-screen, and voiceover.
Develop and execute platform-specific content strategies optimized for discovery, engagement, and follower growth.
Clip, package, and repurpose long-form content from live shows and VOD into high-performing short-form moments.
Track performance analytics weekly and translate data into actionable content decisions.
Collaborate closely with the executive producer, editors, and talent on show launches and brand campaigns.
Support the launch and growth of AAM's own original programming and brand channels.
What We're Looking For 3+ years producing short-form content with a demonstrable track record of audience growth.
Hands-on shooting and editing fluency — comfortable operating as a one-person crew when needed.
Deep platform literacy: you understand the algorithm differences between TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and X, and you produce for each natively.
Strong editorial instincts — knows what makes a clip worth posting and what doesn't.
Experience working in or covering finance, tech, sports, politics, or culture — ideally more than one vertical.
Comfortable in a fast-moving, lean team environment — takes initiative, communicates proactively, and ships on deadline.
Bonus Points Experience with YouTube analytics and channel growth strategy.
Motion graphics or After Effects proficiency.
Live production background.
Financial media or fintech experience.
Newsletter or Substack experience.
Familiarity with AI tools integrated into content workflows.
