What will you do? Sr. Strategic Account Manager, Amazon & Digital Commerce at Vans leads Vans’ most complex and fastest‑growing digital wholesale partnerships, with Amazon at the center of the portfolio. You are accountable for accelerating profitable growth across a broad e‑commerce account base by applying deep Amazon expertise, data‑driven decision making, and best‑in‑class digital marketplace execution.
In this highly visible role, you will own the commercial strategy, execution, and performance of Amazon and select online wholesale partners, driving topline growth, improving profitability, and strengthening marketplace fundamentals. You will serve as the primary subject‑matter expert on Amazon mechanics, platform capabilities, and retail media, while partnering with cross‑functional teams to optimize assortment strategy, demand generation, inventory health, and brand presentation online.
This role plays a critical leadership position within the wholesale organization. You will set priorities, define ways of working, and oversee account management resources aligned to digital wholesale. The Senior Strategic Account Manager reports into the Senior Director of Lifestyle Sales and serves as a key connector between Sales, Planning, Marketing, Operations, and Finance.

Own the end‑to‑end commercial performance of Amazon and assigned e‑commerce wholesale partners, delivering against revenue, inventory, and marketplace health targets.
Develop and execute account‑level growth strategies including assortment planning, pricing strategy, promotional cadence, and lifecycle management.
Lead joint business planning, aligning on growth initiatives, marketing investment, operational improvements, and long‑range opportunities to scale the partnership.
Partner closely with Marketing and Media teams to shape retail media and demand generation strategies, ensuring paid investment supports product priorities and delivers measurable ROI.
Oversee forecast accuracy, order book health, replenishment performance, and in‑season execution to ensure strong sell‑through and optimal inventory productivity.
Serve as the internal Amazon and digital marketplace expert, translating platform insights, data, and trends into clear actions for leadership and cross‑functional partners.
Deliver ongoing marketplace intelligence, monitoring traffic, conversion, buy box health, competitive activity, and consumer behavior to inform strategy and execution.
Champion operational excellence and compliance, ensuring adherence to pricing policies, distribution agreements, brand standards, and vendor requirements.

Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 7‑10+ years of experience and professional achievements.

Amazon & Digital Marketplace Expertise: Deep, hands‑on experience managing Amazon (Vendor or Seller), with a strong understanding of platform mechanics, retail media, content, operations, and analytics.
Strategic Account Leadership: Ability to set account vision, prioritize initiatives, and translate strategy into disciplined execution that delivers profitable growth.
Commercial & Analytical Acumen: Strong command of retail math, forecasting, inventory productivity, and performance metrics, with the ability to turn data into action.
Cross‑Functional Influence: Proven success partnering with Marketing, Planning, Operations, and Finance to align priorities and drive outcomes in a matrixed environment.
Operational Excellence: Strong understanding of digital wholesale operations, compliance, and process optimization across forecasts, orders, and supply chain flow.
Communication & Executive Presence: Ability to clearly articulate insights, recommendations, and risks to senior leaders and external partners.
Agility & Growth Mindset: Comfort operating in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments and evolving the strategy as the digital landscape evolves.
