Digital Executive Producer

WETM 18 News Digital seeks a creative and innovative Digital Executive Producer. The Digital EP is responsible for creating daily content on multiple platforms. This includes our market‑leading website, MyTwinTiers.com. In addition, the Digital EP monitors the monthly and annual goals of our company to ensure our content reaches and exceeds these goals. The Digital EP also assists with supervision and creation of content for our OTP platform WETM+, which is a Smart TV and streaming platform app. WETM 18 News Digital has a three‑person team dedicated only to digital content. If you would like to create unique and compelling content for our apps and platforms that does not duplicate what we are doing in our market‑leading newscasts and do so in a “digital first” News Department environment, we’d like to speak with you. Oh, and our on‑air staff clearly understands its role in making our digital platforms a priority, so you will have allies in that area.

Compensation: $17.00 per hour

Requirements

Capable of researching, interviewing, and writing original news articles

Clever headline writer that gets readers to click

Organized, technical problem solver and quick decision maker

Knowledge of SEO best practices and AP Style

Experience
2 years of experience in digital content and journalism
