As a Photojournalist, you will work with a team of talented journalists to shoot and edit material for newscasts. You will elevate stories by incorporating footage with fresh angles, lighting, and points of view, creating compelling, timely, and accurate content to connect with viewers across traditional and digital platforms.

Required Qualifications

Experience : Shooting and editing television news footage – 5+ years

Education : Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field, or comparable television work experience

Technical Skills : Operation of ENG, SNG, or Satellite vehicles and bonded cellular streaming

Skills : Ability to clearly communicate solutions and relate to diverse populations and ages

Abilities : Positive attitude and eagerness to solve problems; lifting and carrying up to 100 pounds; ability to distinguish colors and discern sounds

Travel Ability : Must be open to travel to discover important stories in your neighborhood and willing to interact with the community

Schedule : Ability to work different shifts, be flexible with schedule changes, and cover stand‑by responsibilities when assigned

Valid driver's license for authorized driving in the state of residence

Working Conditions

Works indoors in a climate‑controlled environment and outdoors throughout the year; may be subjected to various weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold

Drives company vehicle to and from different locations in a safe manner by obeying all traffic laws

A qualified applicant’s criminal history, if any, will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws, including local ordinances.

The base pay for this position generally is between $20.40 and $36.10 per hour. Compensation is based on a range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Certain positions may be eligible for incentive‑based compensation such as bonuses.
