An insurance agency is seeking a dedicated Account Manager to support their personal lines insurance team on a contract basis. This role involves maintaining and servicing an existing book of business focused on homeowners and auto insurance. The position does not require outbound sales or prospecting, making it ideal for candidates who excel at client service, organization and managing high volumes of service requests. The role involves constant communication with clients and the precise handling of policy maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
Manage and service an existing personal lines book of business, ensuring client satisfaction and policy accuracy.
Provide support for homeowners and auto insurance policies by addressing client inquiries and requests.
Quote new inbound personal lines business when applicable.
Handle policy servicing and account maintenance activities including updates and endorsements.
Manage policy renewals and support retention efforts to ensure client loyalty.
Process common service requests such as adding or removing vehicles and drivers, and policy updates.
Deliver excellent customer service via phone and email channels.
Maintain accurate records within the agency management system ensuring data integrity.
Requirements
Active Florida 4-40 customer representative license
Minimum 1+ year of personal lines insurance experience
Experience with homeowners and auto insurance products
Proficiency with Applied EPIC agency management system (highly preferred)
Strong communication and telephone skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
Client-focused and service-driven mindset
Ability to work onsite in Florida
Pay Range
The anticipated pay range for this position is $30.00 – $33.00 per hour. The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, education, training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
