This is a highly visible role for a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.In this role, you will:Own product positioning and messaging across Candescent’s platform and solutionsLead go-to-market execution for new products and feature launchesAlign cross-functional teams around clear customer value and differentiationBuild structure and frameworks in an evolving, high-growth environmentCollaborate deeply across Product, Sales, Customer Experience, Operations, and agency partnersHelp shape the Product Marketing function and mentor future PMM hires as the company scalesWhat You’ll DoProduct Positioning & MessagingDevelop clear, differentiated value propositions and messaging frameworks for Candescent’s platform and feature setTranslate complex technical capabilities into compelling, customer-centric narratives for banks and credit unionsEnsure consistent positioning across website content, sales collateral, campaigns, and other external-facing materialsGo-to-Market Strategy & ExecutionLead end-to-end go-to-market planning for product releases and feature launchesDefine ideal customer profiles (ICPs), buyer personas, launch readiness checklists, success metrics, and communication plansDrive cross-functional alignment with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and agency partners to ensure flawless executionCompetitive & Customer InsightsOwn and maintain the competitive landscape, delivering clear points of view on differentiation and positioningPartner with Product, Sales, and CX to understand customer needs, adoption challenges, and market trendsTurn insights into actionable recommendations that influence messaging, launches, and product strategySales EnablementCreate customer-ready assets including pitch decks, one-pagers, feature sheets, battlecards, demo narratives, and FAQsSupport sales training and ensure messaging consistency across teamsEquip Sales with the tools and stories needed to confidently win in competitive dealsCross-Functional CollaborationAct as a connective link between Product, Sales, Customer Experience, and MarketingManage agency partners across design, content, research, and creative workstreamsCommunicate clearly and confidently with senior leaders, technical teams, and external stakeholdersFuture Team LeadershipOperate as a strong, hands-on individual contributor todayHelp define the vision, processes, and standards for the Product Marketing functionMentor and support junior PMMs as the team scalesWhat You Bring8+ years of product marketing experience in SaaS, fintech, or adjacent B2B enterprise markets, including 3–5 years in a leadership roleProven success building differentiated narratives, leading product launches, and driving measurable revenue impactStrong analytical and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiencesDeep experience in competitive intelligence, market analysis, persona development, and influencing product roadmapsExecutive presence with the ability to inspire and influence without formal authorityDemonstrated success partnering closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams, as well as managing agency partnersEntrepreneurial, hands-on mindset balanced with strategic vision; thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environmentsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Economics, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred or equivalent work experience.Must be authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship is available for this roleStatement to Third Party AgenciesTo ALL recruitment agencies: Candescent only accepts resumes from agencies on the preferred supplier list.
