Overview
As an Account Executive focused on mid‑market non‑profit association clients, you will understand their unique needs, align their mission goals with Salesforce’s capabilities, and drive strategic partnerships that amplify their social impact. This is a quota‑carrying role requiring strong sales acumen and deep empathy for the nonprofit sector, especially in public health, behavioral health, homelessness prevention, child welfare, and other human services programs.

Responsibilities

Partner with internal resources to drive additional value and expertise.

Generate pipeline that leads to closed revenue and quota attainment.

Selling on value and return on investment versus technical functionality.

Build credibility and trust while influencing buying decisions.

Uncover business initiatives and struggles to map our solutions across multiple lines of business.

Create demand by uncovering business problems and matching them to our solutions.

Have a deep understanding of how businesses operate and the priorities that drive decisions from the C‑level.

Qualifications

Average of 5‑7 years full‑cycle sales experience, with at least 3 years in the field.

Experience selling to the C‑suite.

Ability to build and deliver presentations to a wide range of buyers.

Interest in advance training opportunities including Trailhead, Sandler Sales Training, product bootcamps, mentorship, coaching, and accelerated leadership development.

Clear path to promotion with accelerated leadership development programs.

Exposure to executive leaders who value and practice our values.

Compensation
The typical base salary range for this position is $77,550 – $164,850 annually. In California, New York, and select cities in the metropolitan areas of Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC, the range is $85,300 – $181,000 per year. This range represents base salary only and does not include potential bonus, incentive, equity, or benefits.
