Sales & Marketing Manager The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible to develop leisure and group business for the resort through direct contacts and through partner relationships. For groups this will include contracting, convention services and all client contact. Leading the marketing strategies for the resort includes social media development and regular postings; creating, distributing and analyzing regular electronic communications and maintaining a strategic action plan throughout the year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Negotiate group and leisure business, guest room rates, meeting room rental, and hotel services that meets or exceeds hotel revenue goals.
Identify, solicit and engage new accounts through online searches, in-person appointments, site tours, cold calls, and inquiries via e-mail, phone and text.
Develop strategic tactics to expand the leisure and group client base.
Generate creative concepts and ensure efficient distribution of marketing materials.
Network with industry professionals and event planners to maintain awareness and drive bookings.
Manage client accounts effectively.
Maintain positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat and recurring business.
Secure and process payments as necessary.
Address and resolve any satisfaction issues involving sales or marketing activities.

Job Description
Sea Mist Sales & Marketing Manager
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor Degree minimum
2 years prior sales and marketing experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong analytical skills relative to positively impact hotel revenues
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Strong understanding of revenue management principles
Ability to use reservation and revenue management systems to develop pricing and sales recommendations
Proficient in computer use, Microsoft Office products and e-commerce tools
Experience with IQware preferred
