A Communications Manager will help Hasbro employees perceive the company’s strategy, leadership, and culture. The role runs impactful internal communications that simplify complexity and link people to key priorities. The Communications Manager will translate corporate strategy, leadership choices, and change events into clear, engaging messages delivered through appropriate channels at timely moments, support executive leadership, ensure consistent messaging across business units, and encourage organizational change.
Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, the position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s HQ in Pawtucket, RI or at Hasbro’s temporary location in Boston, MA.
A Day in the Life of a Communications Manager
Channel Strategy: Build a connected communications ecosystem that aligns channel purpose, content, and message flow across web, email, intranet, and internal platforms to deliver intuitive, end-to-end employee experiences.
Orchestration & Alignment: Serve as the central steward of the internal communications calendar. Work with IT, HR, Legal, IR, and other teams to align messaging, manage tradeoffs, and coordinate communication moments across the enterprise.
Change Management: Translate complex change initiatives into clear, timely communications by aligning messaging, channels, and leader enablement to support understanding, readiness, and sustained adoption.
Reporting & Measurement: Enable data-informed communications by defining important metrics, building shared dashboards and insight cadences, and encouraging a test-and-learn approach to content and channel optimization.
Intranet Strategy: Coordinate intranet strategy and governance by improving how content is organized, maintained, and retired through clear taxonomy, navigation, single-source hubs, and lifecycle standards.
Digital Ecosystem: Lead a digital communications ecosystem by acting as a deep authority in Microsoft 365. Define guidelines and governance across tools. Pilot new technologies like content workflows, email lifecycle management, and video databases. Promote responsible AI use in internal communications by identifying use cases that speed up workflows, content creation, accessibility, and reuse.
Global Delivery: Build internal communications programs with an accessibility-first and global approach, ensuring content and experiences are inclusive, culturally relevant, and effective across regions, languages, and abilities.
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
10 years of dynamic experience in internal or corporate communications, including experience operating in a sophisticated, matrixed, or global organization.
Proven experience supporting senior leaders and translating enterprise priorities into clear, effective employee communications.
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities, capable of breaking down complex subjects and customizing messages for various audiences.
Experience contributing to large-scale initiatives such as organizational change, operational updates, or leadership communications.
Strong project coordination abilities, with the capacity to prioritize various tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Familiarity with digital communications platforms and performance measurement tools, with a mentality of continuous improvement.
High emotional intelligence, good judgment, and strong relationship‑building skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across levels and functions.

The base salary range for this position is $86,200.00 to $129,300.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long‑term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
