Position Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with existing dealer accounts, prospecting for new accounts, and ensuring award-winning levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue expansion. This role teams with the Regional Sales Manager to coordinate account strategy, execution, and communication, while serving as the central liaison between dealers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned dealer accounts

Partner closely with the Regional Sales Manager to align on account strategy, priorities, and growth initiatives

Act as the key liaison between dealers, Regional Sales Manager, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and execution

Build and maintain strong, long-term dealer relationships

Understand dealer needs, business goals, and purchasing patterns

Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account growth

Support the Regional Sales Manager in achieving revenue targets across assigned accounts

Coordinate with internal teams (customer service, operations, marketing, eCommerce, etc.) to ensure seamless order flow and issue resolution

Monitor orders, inventory needs, and service issues to proactively address opportunities to drive dealer revenue

Conduct regular account reviews and provide updates to the Regional Sales Manager

Maintain accurate CRM records, including activity tracking, pipeline updates, and forecasting

Analyze account data to identify trends, growth, and opportunities

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience , preferably in the music industry

2–5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or customer relationship management

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word

Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously

Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends

Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage consistent and thorough communication across a national account base

P&L knowledge and ability to analyze dealer trends to improve margin

Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills

Exceptional organizational and follow‑up capabilities

Self‑motivated with a results‑driven approach to exceed assigned quota targets

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in B2B distribution, manufacturing, or eCommerce environments

Musical and/or Live Sound equipment knowledge

Experience working with dealer networks or channel-based sales models

Background supporting or collaborating closely with sales leadership
