Position Summary
The experienced Marketing Manager plays a key role in the day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives across Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort's diverse business units. This position serves as a vital connection between marketing and operations, ensuring resort-wide needs are aligned, on-brand, and executed with excellence and efficiency.
You will collaborate closely with department leaders, sales teams, and external partners to support campaigns, promotions, events, and guest-facing communications that elevate the Sandestin experience.
Key Responsibilities
Support marketing initiatives across all resort business units, including rooms, dining, golf, recreation, marina, retail, events, weddings, group sales, and seasonal programming
Serve as a primary marketing liaison for department leaders, building strong relationships and ensuring marketing needs are communicated clearly and efficiently
Manage traditional marketing efforts including collateral, signage, print materials, promotional displays, advertising, and on-property guest communications
Assist with website updates including landing pages, package offers, event listings, promotions, and ongoing content maintenance
Support email marketing campaigns through content creation, scheduling, audience segmentation, proofing, deployment, and performance analysis
Provide basic graphic design support for digital assets, branded collateral, signage updates, and creative resizing needs
Coordinate marketing projects from concept through completion, managing timelines, approvals, production, and final delivery
Partner with internal teams as well as external agencies, media vendors, printers, photographers, and creative partners
Maintain marketing calendars, campaign schedules, project trackers, and asset management systems
Proofread all materials for accuracy, grammar, consistency, and brand standards
Support seasonal campaigns, resort packages, signature events, programming, and revenue-driving promotions
Thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced resort environment while maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of marketing experience, preferably in hospitality, resort, hotel, tourism, lifestyle, or destination marketing. This is NOT an entry level position.
Experience supporting multiple departments, business units, or high-volume operations
Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
Familiarity with website content management systems, email marketing platforms, and marketing automation tools
Basic graphic design experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design platforms
Understanding of how marketing drives revenue, guest satisfaction, brand awareness, and business performance
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines effectively
Creative thinker with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk and computer
Frequent use of computers, phones, and other office equipment for daily administrative and marketing tasks
Ability to stand and walk throughout the resort property for meetings, events, site visits, and content collection
Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds, including marketing materials, signage, packages, and event supplies
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and climb as needed when organizing materials, setting up signage, or assisting with resort events
Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors as needed, including in natural elements such as heat, humidity, sun, wind, and rain during resort events, activations, photo shoots, and special events
Ability to travel across multiple resort outlets and departments throughout a large property setting
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events based on resort programming and business needs
Requires strong visual attention to detail for reviewing creative materials, signage, digital content, and brand presentation
