At Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort, the Marketing Coordinator plays an essential role in bringing the resort’s experiences, events, and promotions to life. This position supports the day‑to‑day operations of the marketing department across multiple business units, helping ensure projects stay organized, on‑brand, and executed with excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Provide daily administrative support for the marketing department, including invoice processing, finance tracking, purchase card reconciliation, vendor paperwork, and overall department organization

Assist with website content updates, ensuring event listings, package pages, outlet information, menus, imagery, and resort content remain accurate and current

Support social media efforts through content gathering, scheduling assistance, community engagement, and management of select smaller accounts

Assist with Crowdriff content management by organizing user‑generated content, sourcing approved imagery, updating galleries, and maintaining digital asset libraries

Create and update basic marketing collateral using Canva , including menus, flyers, signage, event graphics, promotional materials, and internal communication pieces

Help manage marketing calendars, project trackers, creative requests, deadlines, and campaign assets to keep projects moving efficiently

Proofread marketing materials for grammar, accuracy, brand consistency, and overall presentation quality

Support marketing efforts for resort events, programming, packages, seasonal campaigns, and promotions across multiple departments

Collaborate with internal teams to gather photos, menus, event details, hours of operation, and promotional information needed for campaigns

Coordinate with external vendors including printers, photographers, agencies, and other marketing partners as needed

Maintain organized digital files, brand assets, invoices, project documentation, and creative archives

Successfully balance multiple priorities while remaining proactive, organized, and solutions‑focused in a high‑volume resort environment

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, resort, hotel, tourism, or destination marketing preferred

Experience with website content management systems (CMS)

Familiarity with Canva or basic graphic design platforms

Experience with social media platforms and scheduling tools

Familiarity with Crowdriff or digital asset management systems is a plus

Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to support multiple business units, departments, and marketing projects simultaneously

Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk and computer

Frequent use of computers, phones, and other office equipment for daily administrative and marketing tasks

Ability to stand and walk throughout the resort property for meetings, events, site visits, and content collection

Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds, including marketing materials, signage, packages, and event supplies

Ability to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and climb as needed when organizing materials, setting up signage, or assisting with resort events

Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors as needed, including in natural elements such as heat, humidity, sun, wind, and rain during resort events, activations, photo shoots, and special events

Ability to travel across multiple resort outlets and departments throughout a large property setting

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events based on resort programming and business needs

Requires strong visual attention to detail for reviewing creative materials, signage, digital content, and brand presentation
