Position Highlights: The College of Information Science offers STEM‑designated undergraduate, master’s, and PhD programs, emphasizing computational thinking, ethical reasoning, and multicultural communication with research areas in cybersecurity, data science, and gaming.
The Lecturer for Game Design and Development will provide instruction in areas of game design and development. The FTE will be based on course availability and may be classroom‑based, virtual, or a combination thereof.
This career‑track appointment is not eligible for tenure.
Candidates may work remotely across the United States. Remote positions may be hourly with a rate of $46.88 – $56.25 per hour, while on‑campus positions are salaried at $75,000 – $90,000 per year.

Duties & Responsibilities
Instruct students in the field of expertise.
Plan course delivery, align content with other courses as needed, and provide feedback on student work.
Advise students, hold office hours, and provide student support.
Assist with Capstone projects or individual student projects, engaging in project‑based pedagogy when possible.
Minimum Qualifications
Terminal degree in Information Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Library Science, Media Ecology, Game Media, Gaming Behavior, Game Design and Production, Game Development, or another related field.

Content expertise that aligns with enrollment needs.
