Stoa Group seeks a full‑time Multimedia Specialist in Hammond, LA. The Digital Media Specialist will work with the multidisciplinary in‑house creative team within Marketing to develop and produce work across a broad array of social channels and platforms. You will be adept at imagining new ways to tell stories that bring our desired messages to life in compelling ways. The work combines photography, video footage, graphics, text, and sound into engaging and performative narrative campaigns, and illustration is a plus.

What You’ll Do

Imagine and build highly watchable marketing videos in varying lengths and formats, including short‑form Facebook videos, Instagram stories/Reels, Tik Toks, episodic videos, and formats for other new platforms. These could range from repurposed pre‑existing footage and projects to original productions and campaigns.

Partner with the marketing team and across the organization to create video content at a level consistent with company standards to increase brand awareness.

Execute quarterly community photoshoots, and manage employee headshot database.

Uphold motion, video, and photography creative standards and social media best practices that positively impact our culture and processes.

Be curious, thoughtful, and eager to learn.

Have stellar cinematography/photography skills. Animation skills and drone piloting skills are a plus.

Travel is required for this role.

What You’ll Bring

1+ years of hands‑on experience in design, video production, and/or social media. Experience using drones is a plus.

Fluency with the software used in the creative process, including Adobe Creative Suite applications like Premiere and Illustrator. Excellent editing and motion graphic skills are essential.

Ability to operate necessary camera, lighting, and audio equipment.

An understanding of all social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok) and how brands should participate in an authentic way.

Energy, initiative, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment. You can see the possibilities beyond the scope of the assignment.

Strong time‑management skills to toggle between daily and long‑term tasks, keeping workstreams moving forward simultaneously.

Ability to engage with others to cultivate an environment of learning and constructive dialogue about projects and creative ideas.

Education B.A., B.F.A., or M.F.A. preferred.

Must provide a portfolio of recent work.
