Digital Communications Designer

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented designer to support our External Communications team.
In this role, you’ll: Create engaging, brand-aligned graphics for social and digital platforms
Plan and manage a social media content calendar
Update and maintain website content using a CMS (Drupal preferred)
Capture and edit photo/video content for events and campaigns
Ensure visual consistency across all communications
What we’re looking for: 1–3 years of experience in graphic design or digital media
Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Experience with social media content planning and digital communications
Basic photography/videography and editing skills
Understanding of design principles (typography, layout, color)
Nice to have: Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG)
Familiarity with Drupal, After Effects, or Premiere Pro
Experience in government, nonprofit, or public sector
