Job Description
The K-8 School Education Tech Coordinator & IT Administrator will be responsible for overseeing and managing the integration of technology within the school’s curriculum and operations. This individual will support teachers and students in the use of educational technology, maintain the school’s IT infrastructure, and oversee the school’s social media and web presence. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in educational technology, information systems, and digital communications.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Educational Technology, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in K-8 educational technology integration or teaching.
Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, hardware, and software management.
Familiarity with social media platforms and web development.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues in a timely manner.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a K-8 educational environment.
Certifications in IT or educational technology (e.g., CompTIA A+, Google Certified Educator).
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) for websites (e.g., WordPress).
Experience with creating and managing social media campaigns for schools or organizations.
