Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, English, or a related field.
7 + years of experience in technical writing, preferably in software or IT environments.
Strong ability to understand and document technical concepts, software architecture, and APIs.
Experience with documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, Confluence, Markdown, Git, or SharePoint.
Knowledge of API documentation tools like Swagger / OpenAPI.
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development environments.
Excellent written communication and editing skills.
Ability to work with developers, engineers, and product teams.
Preferred Skills Experience documenting cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and microservices architecture.
Experience with diagram tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Draw.io.
Knowledge of documentation-as-code practices.
