Creative Director, Business Development & Marketing
Position Summary
The Creative Director, Business Development & Marketing is an internal-facing role within the Marketing, New Business, and Creative teams at Amp. This hybrid role combines creative direction, new business development, brand marketing, and strategic thinking to drive growth and elevate the agency’s brand. This role defines and evolves the Amp brand’s visual identity and go-to-market expression. Working cross-functionally across the agency, this individual connects complex business challenges with agency capabilities, crafts compelling narratives, manages multiple workstreams, and ensures consistency in voice, design, and overall brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
Agency Brand Leadership
Lead the development and evolution of the agency brand in collaboration with the Executive Creative Director and cross-functional teams
Own andmaintainAmp’s visual identity, voice, and tone
Develop tools, templates, and systems for consistent brand execution
Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external touchpoints
Providestrategic guidance on brand-related initiatives and decisions
Align brand messaging with business development strategies and proposals
Business Development Storytelling
Lead storytelling strategy for new business in partnership with the Business Development team
Craft compelling, persuasive narratives for pitches and presentations
Edit and refine content for clarity and alignment with agency positioning
Translate complex ideas into clear messaging
Collaborate across teams to build cohesive pitch narratives
Operate effectively in ambiguous situations
New Business Pitch Design & Delivery
Own the visual expression of Amp’s services and capabilities in pitch materials
Ensure all materials reflect the Amp brand effectively
Design impactful presentations and storytelling frameworks
Develop andmaintaincase study libraries
Create thought leadership and marketing materials
Stay informed on industry trends
AI Innovation & Integration
Apply AI knowledge to enhance business development efforts
Translate AI capabilities into client-facing narratives
Promote AI adoption across teams
Integrate AI into RFI/RFP responses
Adviseleadership on AI trends
Qualifications & Experience
Advanced design skills (Adobe, Figma, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
Experience with generative AI tools
Ability to translate marketing strategies into client solutions
Strong portfolio of creative and strategic work
Excellent collaboration and organizational skills
Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree
Experience Requirements: 8–10 years experience in relevant field (Marketing agency experience preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities
Direct Reports: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports
Indirect Reports: Does not have direct reports, but may delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports
Environmental & Physical Requirements
Office / Sedentary Requirements. Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily from a home office or in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
