Visual Designer

As a Visual Designer on the core team, you will be at the center of bringing creative ideas to life. You will be asked to take ownership of a complex product while working with a great founding team to launch our main product that will directly guide Capsule's mission and business forward.
This role is in-person, and based in SF/Bay Area or NYC.
In this role, you will:
Work across the entire design stack including: speccing, designing workflows and interactions, high fidelity visuals, and ensuring quality implementation
Think holistically about Capsule's story and build a brand that best represents our mission and vision
Think about the user perspective and find elegant solutions to user problems
Craft designs from first principles because Capsule is building a product that is unlike any in the market today
Iterate and refine the design with the team and customers to build a best-in-class user experience
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in product design and UX
Experience implementing visual design systems across platforms in an iterative software development environment.
Portfolio highlighting multiple projects and your direct contributions
A desire to work at a very early stage startup (and understanding of the upsides as well as responsibilities that come with a role of this nature)
Problem solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints when designing for desktop and mobile (Android + iOS).
Experience owning design workflows end to end. You'll own translating project strategy into strong design experiences
Familiar with crypto concepts
Nice to have:
Prior crypto/web3 experience, particularly creating developer and user-facing applications
Prior startup and/or design leadership experience
