We’re looking for a Part‑Time Writer to join the Good Morning Arizona team. This role demands a fast‑paced, conversational voice that delivers news with personality, urgency, and absolute accuracy while the clock is ticking.

Responsibilities

Craft sharp, conversational scripts that sound like a person talking, not a news bot, ensuring anchors connect authentically with viewers.

Work under tight morning deadlines, delivering clean, ready‑to‑air copy without breaking a sweat.

Double‑check every fact, name, and number to maintain 100% accuracy.

Adapt scripts for digital platforms, making stories compelling on both smartphone screens and large TV.

Collaborate in real time with producers and editors to integrate video and graphics seamlessly.

Qualifications / Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, broadcasting, related field, or equivalent work experience.

Ability to work under pressure, adapt to change, meet deadlines, work well with a team, and work independently.
