ABOUT THE ROLE
We're a contract personal care manufacturer bringing skin care, hair care, and body care products to life for brands across mass market, prestige, online, and spa channels. We're looking for a driven, relationship-oriented Account Manager who can win new business and own projects from first conversation through launch.
This is a true hybrid role — you'll prospect and close new accounts while serving as the internal owner of active projects, keeping everything moving with the documentation, coordination, and follow-through our customers rely on. You'll work directly under our Head of Sales and play a meaningful part in how we grow.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable picking up the phone to pursue a new lead and rolling up their sleeves to track down an SDS sheet.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development
- Prospect and bring in new business through outbound outreach, networking, and industry events
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and expand wallet share
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand brand vision and manufacturing needs
- Prepare and present pricing, capability decks, and proposals to win new projects
Account Management & Project Ownership
- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing customers on active projects
- Onboard new customers and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle
- Own the active project pipeline from lab sampling through pilot batch and launch PO
- Coordinate across sales, lab, regulatory, and operations to keep projects on track
- Track documentation and ensure all sign-offs are obtained before production advances
- Develop a working understanding of BOM structure and product categories to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 2-5 years in account management, inside sales, project management, or a hybrid role
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, build relationships, and close new accounts
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce, etc.)
- Proactive, ownership-oriented mindset with strong follow-through
Preferred
- Background in personal care, beauty, CPG, or contract manufacturing
- Existing network of brand contacts in the industry
- Exposure to new product development or lab coordination

Base salary range of $60,000-$85,000, commensurate with experience, plus commission.
