Overview
Director, Programmatic Media for the Performance Media team. This role focuses on the technical side of omnichannel programmatic campaign planning, requiring a resourceful, curious problem solver with a proven track record of delivering advanced campaigns using a multi‑media approach.
Core Responsibilities
Flawless execution of agency’s programmatic omnichannel media campaigns
Craft and author superior omnichannel programmatic strategy that leverages latest technology within the pharmaceutical advertising landscape to surpass client goals
Advanced analytical skills: interpret overall campaign performance (within and beyond KPIs) and articulate results to non‑media experts
Lead day‑to‑day client operations and contribute to critical POVs and agency thought leadership
Communicate with clients verbally, in written form, and demonstrate strong presentation skills
Entrepreneurial attitude: excited about building the agency with new tools, ideas, and opportunities
Cross‑channel integration: passion for integrated strategy and execution, with a specific interest in biddable media
Discipline and collaboration: diligent and disciplined yet comfortable in a casual, collaborative environment; passionate about advertising and enjoying teaching and learning about programmatic media
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6+ years of experience in programmatic media
Willingness to travel weekly to the client office in San Francisco
Day‑to‑day programmatic campaign management experience across multiple DSPs (including Pulsepoint, DeepIntent, Lasso, Doceree, Trade Desk)
Experience in pharmaceutical advertising required
Strong POVs, proactively engaged in industry and agency thought leadership
Comfortable building relationships with clients and managing up
Coach and mentor team members, sharing insights about industry trends
Utilize technical knowledge to troubleshoot platforms, systems, and tools
Interpret campaign performance and provide creative optimizations to supervisors and colleagues
Entrepreneurial streak: excited to build the agency with new tools, ideas, and opportunities
Desire to learn and build something special in a casual, collaborative environment
Salary
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $130K to $150K. The range represents the anticipated low and high of Syneos Health’s range for this role. Actual salary will vary based on qualifications, skills, and competencies.
