As a technical writer, Skills Needed::
• Technical writing: Use your outstanding writing skills and extraordinary attention to detail to conceptualize, plan, develop and write high-quality documentation.
• Work with product managers and R&D to document our innovative cloud-native SaaS products
• The position may include reviewing white papers, spec sheets, and other related technical marketing materials
• Authoring tools - Markdown is our tool. If they know Ditta or another markup language our team could teach them Markdown
• Concepts around Systems, storage and software
• VMware Modern Apps BU Products - Tanzu Applications Services
• Good understanding of computer skills
Who You Are
• At least five to 10 years of experience in a technical writing role
• Previous experience in technical writing preferably for Cloud, Systems, Storage, Devops or Developers including opensource
• Bonus points: experience in cloud native applications / cyber security / SaaS
• Creative and critical thinking skills
• Ability to present technical products in a clear and engaging way
• Ability to learn about new products, technology, and tools quickly
• Ability to embrace change, find opportunities, and take initiative
• Mother-tongue level English and fantastic written communication skills
