SUMMARY:
The Marketing Coordinator is a creative and detail-oriented professional who plays a key role in driving awareness and top line revenue through creative and strategic marketing initiatives. This position will assist in creating and deploying high-impact brand content, targeted emails, and social media campaigns to strengthen customer engagement. This role will collaborate with the sales and marketing teams, helping identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and promote La Bahia Hotel & Spa's premium offerings. By developing innovative programming and content, the Marketing Coordinator will uphold La Bahia Hotel & Spa's service standards (inspired by Forbes) while elevating our beachfront resort.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITY:
Coordinate and assist in creating programming across all hotel outlets and amenities.
Coordinate content calendars to achieve a consistent cadence of marketing initiatives and programming.
Coordinate internal and external marketing meetings.
Coordinate website content insuring brand integrity, volume of traffic and direct bookings.
Research market trends, competitor activity, and potential business opportunities.
Assist in managing the hotel's social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, etc.), creating engaging content (photos, videos, reels) to showcase amenities, events, and promotions.
Schedule and monitor posts and analyze performance metrics.
Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and platforms.
Assist in developing and executing email marketing campaigns and paid ads to attract guests and boost direct bookings.
Design visually appealing collateral (brochures, flyers, presentations, digital assets) that align with brand standards.
Support promotional events, partnerships, and influencer collaborations to increase brand visibility.
Work with photographers/videographers to capture high-quality property images (rooms, dining, amenities).
Help coordinate press visits, influencer visits, and collaborations to boost visibility.
Assist sales with lead generation tools (e.g., targeted LinkedIn outreach).
Support special projects like seasonal packages, special events and activations.
Provide exceptional customer service to clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Perform all other duties that may be assigned as needed by your manager.

QUALIFICATIONS: (2/3) years in hospitality sales/marketing, communication, or related field.
Proficient in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Revinate, Monday.com, Opera and Microsoft Office 365.
Strong writing skills and creativity with an eye for visual branding.
Excellent communication skills.
Polished, detail-oriented, and adept at liaising with clients and partners.
Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
