The PPAI Marketing Team is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager, whose primary focus will be social strategy and planning to help shape how the organization shows up in culture and industry. This role combines strategic rigor with creative intuition—and requires the ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment. The position is central to building relevance, connection, and brand affinity across social platforms through smart strategy, compelling storytelling, and creative execution. As a key member of the marketing team, the Digital Marketing Manager will own strategic planning and direction of organic and paid social content across major platforms, ensuring that PPAI is connecting and driving engagement for the social community. The position will operate at the intersection of communications strategy, internet culture, and performance-translating insight into content that resonates, travels, and delivers results. This is an ideal opportunity for a strategic thinker and hands‑on leader who is fluent in social media, energized by cultural moments and motivated by impact. Along with leading the social management for the organization, the role will have responsibilities for PPAI’s digital channels, including the brand website, keeping the overall member experience top of mind. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this individual will collaborate closely with the Marketing Managers, Sr. Creative Services Manager, key stakeholders, and industry influencers to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and elevate PPAI’s social footprint. This role will lead the creation, implementation, and refinement of social initiatives that support PPAI’s goals, leveraging insights from analytics and emerging trends to continuously optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy and content plan collaborating with creative team, key stakeholders, and industry influencers to drive brand visibility, engagement, and credibility.

Create, execute, and monitor platform‑specific social content strategies across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels that align with organizational objectives and enhance PPAI’s digital presence.

Lead content creation, ensuring creative excellence, speed, and alignment with brand strategy.

Identify cultural trends, platform shifts, and audience behaviors—and activate them in meaningful, brand‑relevant ways.

Lead and manage social influencer strategy collaborating closely with internal clients and partners to ensure that objectives are achieved.

Maintain social specifications documentation and regularly update the creative services team on changes and updates across platforms.

Drive an always‑on, agile approach to content creation that reflects the pace of culture.

Measure creative performance, optimize content strategies, and translate insights into action.

Analyze and report on social performance against defined KPIs and brand objectives.

Support broader Social and Communications initiatives as needed.

Create, execute, and monitor social media campaigns that align with organizational objectives and enhance PPAI’s digital presence across various platforms.

Partner closely with Marketing, Media, PR, and Agency teams to ensure integrated and consistent messaging.

Oversee social media accounts, fostering audience interaction and engagement through community management, timely responses, and participation in relevant conversations.

Analyze audience insights and trends to refine strategies, increase engagement, and drive growth in reach and follower count.

Manage relationships with internal clients for all social campaigns and activations providing plans aligned to the objectives of the campaign, timeline, and review cycles.

Website UX Experience (25%)

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize website content, and UX design, enhancing overall user satisfaction and usage rates.

Provide IT with project details, objectives, and deadlines for all website update requests. Obtain timeline estimate from IT to include in workback schedule to clients.

Alongside external partner, ensuring content on website is optimized for SEO/AEO.

Data Analysis, Reporting & Strategic Recommendations (20%)

Utilize analytics tools to measure campaign performance, track KPIs, and generate actionable insights for improvement for social and website channels.

Identify opportunities for innovation, growth, and enhanced engagement within the social media landscape.

Provide timely and accurate reporting within the monthly KPI tracker for social. Provide commentary that reflects the results each month within the department KPI tracker.

Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.

5-7 years of experience in social media strategy at a brand or agency (agency experience strongly preferred)

Proven experience with the ability to cross‑collaborate across marketing, creative, and client teams.

Demonstrated success translating brand and communications strategy into high‑performing social content

Deep understanding of social platforms, trends, and creator‑driven content ecosystems

Strong point of view on best practices for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other emerging platforms

Experience creating and managing social content calendars

Familiarity with social media management and listening tools such as Sprout Social, or similar

Ability to operate with confidence and sound judgment in fast‑paced, ambiguous environment

Community management experience preferred

Demonstrated thought leadership in social strategy or platform innovation

Ability to attend and capture content at PPAI events and conferences, for real‑time social postings that align to organizational priorities and objectives.

Experience/Familiarity with WordPress and website user experience a plus. An interest and willingness to learn website tools and strategy is required.

Analytics & Reporting-Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and adjust campaigns for optimal results, able to extract data from social media platforms such as Sprout Social,

Content Creation-Ability to work with content teams to create compelling, socially engaging content.

Project Management-Ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.

Communication-Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams.

Adaptability-Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced environment and stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Technology Platforms-Ability to work within a project management tool, such as Monday.com.
