Job Overview
The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics seeks applications for an Account Manager for Corporate Partnerships (or Senior Account Manager) in a full-time, hourly position with a comprehensive benefits package.

The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales goals through prospecting, networking, cultivating relationships, executing sales, and delivering on expectations of corporate sponsorship agreements while following all departmental, university, conference, and NCAA policies and regulations.

Essential Functions

Identify potential sponsors through prospecting and networking with university and community stakeholders and business partners, researching local, regional and national companies.

Assist in creating sales inventory, revenue projections and overall sponsorship strategy.

Support the development and execution of a sales plan.

Execute sales presentations for prospective corporate sponsorships.

Create sales proposals and negotiate contracts.

Collaborate with sponsors in the development of key marketing objectives via needs assessment and sales process.

Entertain and cultivate professional relationships.

Maintain relationships with current sponsors and renew agreements.

Stay current with relevant market conditions and sports marketing trends.

Perform related duties based on departmental need.

Required Education
Bachelor's Degree. Six (6) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of the education requirement.

Required Experience
Two (2) years of relevant work experience.

Additional Qualifications Considered

Direct sales experience in the sports multi-media environment.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across many demographics.

Salary / Hourly Pay Rate Information
