Account Executive – Core Lab Franchise
Capital Equipment Sales Role responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives in targeted accounts across specific territories in Southwest Florida. Typically targets medium to large hospitals and reference laboratories, developing customer prospects, maintaining relationships with decision makers, and conducting multiple in‑person sales calls each week. Must travel as needed and be able to perform overnight trips.

Job Facts

Contact new and existing customers to exceed sales objectives in hospital and reference laboratory accounts, developing new business, maintaining current business, and troubleshooting customer problems. This includes account planning, delivering differentiation and quantifiable economic value, and negotiating sales.

Minimum of 10-15 in‑person sales calls per week.

Generate demand and maximize product awareness by educating laboratory diagnostics customers.

Implement strategic initiatives and plans to facilitate capital equipment sales and improve productivity.

Prepare reagent and capital equipment proposals and present contract proposals to customers, negotiating to maximize overall business and profitability.

Organize territory planning and routing for efficient coverage.

Communicate competitive market information internally.

Network and interface with internal colleagues and industry organizations to share information and best practices.

Location & Travel
Field‑based role; territory covers Southwest Florida. Must live within 50 mi of the territory and be willing to travel throughout the region for customer meetings. Overnight travel may be required.

Who You Are

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

3+ years of relevant sales or equivalent experience.

Participation in an approved accelerated development, fellowship or rotational program may be considered in lieu of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years experience in the Diagnostics industry (5 years preferred).

Minimum of 3 years experience selling capital equipment and laboratory equipment to hospitals and reference laboratories (5 years preferred).

Experience in complex sales environments with demonstrated success.

Successful negotiation, strategic planning and organizational skills.

Compensation & Benefits
Expected salary range for the primary location of Cape Coral, FL: $86,700 – $160,900. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job‑related factors permitted by law. Position eligible for incentive compensation under the applicable plan and qualifies for benefits as detailed at the link below. Relocation benefits are not offered for this position.
