Sr. SEO Analyst
Job Summary
Talent Software Services is searching for a Sr. SEO Analyst for a contract position that can be worked 100% remotely. The opportunity will be for one year with a strong chance for a long‑term extension. The role involves supporting the development, execution, and ongoing optimization of the SEO strategy for multiple client domains, subdomains, and mobile apps.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop and prioritize implementation of SEO recommendations for designated client domains and subdomains.

Collaborate with IT (client and vendor) teams to support SEO initiatives, driving early integration of SEO requirements into the web development process.

Monitor Google Webmaster and other SEO tools to identify and investigate existing or emerging issues that may negatively impact SEO.

Develop performance dashboards, analytics metrics, and KPIs; deliver project analysis, monthly recaps, and other routine reports. Work with third‑party consultants/vendors and leverage internal and external analytics tools to measure performance, troubleshoot issues, and identify technical or quality‑related obstacles that might affect overall organic traffic and rankings. Set goals and develop plans to execute against them. Stay up to date with Google algorithm changes and evolving best practices to support SEO health.

Support backlinking and other strategic programs as requested by the SEO Manager.

Produce detailed functional requirements documents for onsite search enhancements. Collaborate closely with IT and operational colleagues to ensure timely implementation, testing, release to production, and monitoring of results.

Work collaboratively with Digital Analytics, SEO colleagues, Creative Media (UX), Web Operations, IT, PMO, Ontology and other groups to establish and implement taxonomy, data standards, guidelines, and best practices to optimize search relevance.

Qualifications

Prefer a minimum of 2 years managing SEO at the enterprise level with SQL and big data mining experience; SEO technical expertise and SEO certification are a plus.

Support critical MCHS Organic & AI Search marketing efforts via execution and cross‑functional delivery across the product lifecycle. Assist with client pre‑release QA validation, HE&CS support, and enterprise local SEO management.

7+ years of hands‑on SEO experience, with demonstrated success leading SEO strategy for enterprise or complex brands.

Perform ongoing performance analysis and diagnostics to understand what drives or limits discovery.

Experience with website migrations or large‑scale redesigns; ensure SEO best practices are incorporated from planning through post‑launch validation, including site architecture, content mapping, redirect strategy, and search performance continuity.

Supported multi‑location SEO efforts, including local landing page optimization and Google Business Profile management.

Deep understanding of technical SEO fundamentals, on‑page optimization, schema and content‑driven discovery.

Experience with AI in search and answers.

Data‑driven experience using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Python, Google Search Console, and other common reporting platforms.

Familiarity with SEO and keyword research tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, GSC), Adobe Analytics, Yext, Botify, and Screaming Frog.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate a clear POV.

Minimum BS/BA in Computer Science, Marketing or related field.

3 years of agency experience or managing enterprise SEO campaigns; experience in SEM and SEO strategy, technical audits, and problem‑solving.

Experience leading projects in a complex environment.

Experience with SEO content development/management in a digital setting.

Digital analytics and/or quantitative analysis skills.

Experience conducting keyword research, link acquisition, content promotion, outreach, site performance optimization, structured data, and A/B testing.

Strong understanding of SEM, social media and ecommerce. Expertise in utilizing SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Conductor, Google Ads, Screaming Frog, and familiarity with Google Analytics 360 and Google Search Console.

Experience with CMS environments such as Sitecore and WordPress; knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration.

High‑level proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access).

Ability to initiate and drive projects, tenacity to deliver results in a complex environment, and manage work across multiple projects.

Ability to translate business requirements into technical plans and reporting solutions to analyze data, interpret results, and recommend solutions for optimizing or understanding product investments.

Keen problem‑solving abilities, strong attention to detail, organizational skills, self‑motivation, and ability to work independently.
