Description

The Digital Director is responsible for developing and implementing digital strategies to support the goals and objectives of the political firm. This role involves overseeing all digital communications, including social media, email marketing, website management, online advertising, and digital content creation. The Digital Director collaborates with internal teams and external partners to ensure the effective use of digital platforms for fundraising, voter engagement.
Key Responsibilities

Design compelling digital and print graphics for political campaigns, including ads, email graphics, mail pieces, and branding materials
Create and manage content using Canva and Adobe Photoshop
Lead website design, updates, and basic maintenance (campaign and issue-based sites)
Oversee social media accounts across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok)
Develop, manage, and execute social media content calendars
Write and schedule social media posts aligned with campaign messaging and strategy
Monitor engagement and trends to optimize digital performance
Collaborate closely with campaign managers, strategists, and clients to ensure consistent messaging
Ensure all creative work aligns with campaign branding, compliance requirements, and timelines
Qualifications
Experience with Canva and Adobe Photoshop (required)
Strong understanding of digital design, branding, and political messaging
Experience with website design platforms (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace, or similar)
Proven experience managing social media accounts and content calendars
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Political campaign or advocacy experience preferred, but not required

Salary

$40,000 - $50,000 per year
