Role Overview
The Video & Digital Media Production freelancer will support the marketing team with video production, motion graphics, and digital content creation across multiple brands including Cottage Door Press, Luna StoryTime Projector, and Parragon.

This role works closely with the Design Director to assist in creating marketing videos, product demonstrations, and short-form social media content used across YouTube, Amazon, and social platforms. The internship offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced marketing environment and exposure to the full video production process—from concept development and asset preparation to editing, formatting, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with editing marketing and social media videos for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other digital platforms

Support the creation of motion graphics and animations using Adobe After Effects

Help format artwork and design assets for use in video production

Create short‑form video content and social media graphics using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva

Assist with filming product footage and preparing video assets when needed

Prepare alternate video formats for different platforms (16:9, vertical)

Support closed captioning and exporting of video files for distribution

Assist with organizing and managing digital video assets and project files

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging social media content

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Media, Film, Digital Media, or a related field

Basic video production or editing experience using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, or Illustrator

Interest in video editing, motion graphics, and digital marketing

Familiarity with social media platforms and short‑form video formats (Reels, Shorts, etc.)

Experience with Canva is a plus for quick‑turn social media graphics and content

Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized while managing multiple tasks

Comfortable working in a collaborative creative environment and open to feedback
