Job Description
Client's Enterprise IT (EIT) team delivers and sustains the tools, platforms, and infrastructure that power the workforce. As the IT landscape evolves rapidly, clear and timely communication is critical to driving adoption and alignment across the organization.

Role Summary
The EIT Communications Program Manager [C] will own the full communications lifecycle — from shaping narrative on high‑stakes technology projects to managing day‑to‑day operational and incident communications. This role fits into the overall EIT Program Management team and will work cross‑functionally across Cybersecurity, Enterprise/Productivity Applications, Network Infrastructure, and DevOps. Organizational Change Management (OCM) is an essential tenet to building the IT image as not only a service provider but an enabler of organizational success.

Responsibilities

Own Enterprise IT communications end‑to‑end — from messaging strategy and executive alignment through launch, adoption, and post‑go‑live reinforcement

Lead OCM communications workstreams for high‑stakes IT initiatives (system migrations, platform rollouts, policy changes), tailoring messaging for both technical and non‑technical audiences

Manage recurring operational communications including maintenance windows, incident/outage updates, and proactive service advisories — maintaining timeliness, clarity, and a consistent IT voice

Own and govern key IT communication channels (Slack, Google Sites, Confluence, newsletters) with accountability for content quality, cadence, and multi‑modal audience engagement

Translate complex technical concepts into clear, digestible content for audiences ranging from software engineers to frontline employees — applying strong visual and storytelling instincts

Partner cross‑functionally with Enterprise Applications, Cybersecurity, Network Infrastructure, and DevOps to develop communications that reflect each domain while maintaining a cohesive IT brand

Build and maintain a communications governance framework — templates, editorial calendars, channel standards, and approval workflows

Use AI tools and automation to scale recurring communications and reduce manual lift over time

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years in communications, program management, or change management — with 2+ years inside a tech organization or start‑up

Proven ability to write for both technical (developer/engineer) and non‑technical (business/end‑user) audiences on IT platforms and projects

Experience leading or contributing to OCM workstreams on complex IT projects (enterprise app rollouts, infrastructure migrations, platform consolidations)

Strong visual communication skills — eye for design, layout, and ability to produce or direct polished multi‑modal content (written, visual, audio/video)

Hands‑on experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Groups, Google Sites, Slides) and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Loom)

Comfortable in a Slack‑first environment, writing for modern, short‑attention‑span audiences

Familiarity with PROSCI or equivalent OCM methodologies

Familiarity utilizing AI tools (Claude, Gemini, NotebookLM, Glean, etc.) to rapidly draft and refine communications
