Director of Communications and PR

A company is looking for a Director of Communications and Public Relations.
Key Responsibilities

Design and execute a strategic external communications strategy and manage media outreach
Safeguard the organization's brand reputation and lead internal communications functions
Provide strategic counsel to senior leaders and oversee the development of executive thought leadership initiatives

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
10+ years of progressive experience in communications or public relations, including 5+ years in leadership roles
Experience in health insurance, healthcare, or highly regulated industries
Demonstrated success in managing communications strategy and crisis communications
Ability to navigate fast-paced environments and work cross-functionally with various departments
