Digital Photography & Graphic Arts
Newark Charter School is seeking a creative and technically proficient educator to lead our comprehensive "Media Arts" electives. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between fine art principles and modern digital execution, teaching courses ranging from Digital Photography (Basic & Advanced) to Graphic Arts I & II. Responsibilities include providing expert-level instruction in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and managing a state-of-the-art digital lab. The ideal candidate will cultivate an environment where "Excellence and Decorum" meet contemporary creativity, while guiding students through the development of professional-grade portfolios and real-world applications, such as exhibitions and school publications

Commensurate with degree level and experience
Minimum Qualifications:
Meets certification requirements of the State of Delaware for Teacher Licensure aligned with the role of digital photography and graphic arts.

Prioritize parental engagement in the instructional program and as partners to ensure the academic success of all students.
Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation.
Promote high expectations for behavior standards and enforce the Code of Conduct.
Contribute to the school community outside of the instructional program.
Perform other duties as assigned.
