Known is looking for a talented Sr. Copywriter to join the Studios, supporting and developing big idea-driven creative for clients across industries. The role demands great strategic thinking, flawless execution, bold innovation, passion, and optimism. The Sr. Copywriter will also drive forward the development and execution of brand creative inclusive of TV, social, digital, OOH, and experience marketing. This position knows how to tell stories visually on any platform. Our ideal candidate is an innovative, collaborative and hands‑on creative who has experience developing and executing highly impactful creative approaches for clients across industries. Healthcare or wellness industry experience is a plus.

This is a temp-to-perm position with a 2-3 month introductory period prior to conversion to a full‑time role with benefits. Candidates based on the east coast will be prioritized.

What you'll do

Concept, develop & execute brand and 360 product marketing campaigns across TV, digital, social and print

Write copy from concept to end product with the ability to self‑manage and drive forward multiple projects and tight timelines

Leverage talent for copywriting to lead and execute entire campaigns that solve for consumer needs and business goals

Move audiences through the written word, whether that be a manifesto statement, script, social post or tagline.

Confidently present copy to teams and stakeholders, articulating and rationalizing copy decisions with strategic insights

Actively contribute to a team of best‑in‑class creatives at all levels—mentoring them and developing their skills

Develop a deep understanding of consumer target’s mindsets, attitudes, & behaviors to inform strong empathetic and strategic executions.

Translate marketing objectives into clear creative strategies and outputs

Oversee deliverables as well as adhere to timelines and creative budgets

Represent creative output throughout the wider org, presenting to key stakeholders and communicating with internal teams and agencies

Manage multiple projects, with the ability to switch from one to the other seamlessly while staying on deadline and within budget

Work closely with Client, Strategy, and Media team members to ensure that our briefs can spark groundbreaking creative—and that the creative is grounded in consumer insights, and business goals

What you have done / who you are

You have a portfolio featuring a wide range of creative campaigns, a diversity of creative ideas and approaches to solving problems with a focus on articulating strategic, breakthrough ideas across a myriad of channels

You possess a strong aptitude for the written word, and communicating messages succinctly, emotively and brilliantly

You maintain a solid understanding of how creativity can achieve business objectives while still meeting and encouraging brand standards for aesthetic and communication quality

You have strong analytical ability and clear and effective written, verbal, and visual communication skills

You can collaborate with team members at all levels to ensure projects are effective and meet brand guidelines, compliance and overall project goals.

You have an understanding of all aspects of brand marketing creative, including brand development, TV, social, digital, advertising, OOH, retail/POS, media and environmental/experiential design

You have experience and skill to drive the development of new business and client review decks and various communication vehicles

You have a proven ability to quickly identify problems and solve them

Your background includes

5-7+ years of creative advertising experience developing 360 campaigns

Undergraduate degree in one or more of the following fields: Design, Advertising, Branding, Marketing, Fine Arts, or a related field

Annual salary for this position is $110K-$125K. This range is posted in compliance with state and municipal Pay Transparency laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to receive additional Known benefits.
