Partners with Marketing leadership to develop and execute strategies that drive membership growth and retention, and overall enterprise expansion. It oversees multi-channel campaigns, brand positioning, community outreach, and partnerships with providers, health plans, and brokers to strengthen market presence and patient engagement. With a focus on the Medicare line of business, the position also ensures regulatory compliance, aligns marketing with operational and clinical goals, and leads the marketing team’s performance and development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute marketing strategies that support enterprise growth, with a focus on Medicare membership acquisition and retention across the medical groups’ footprint.
Partner in the development and refinement of the organization’s brand and creative strategy to ensure consistent, compelling positioning that differentiates the medical groups in local markets and supports long-term growth objectives.
Oversee targeted marketing tactics and campaigns at the provider, IPA, and regional level in close partnership with Network Management and Operations to drive panel growth and retention.
Collaborate with marketing leadership to execute multi-channel campaigns (direct mail, local media, digital, field marketing) that support provider growth and enterprise objectives.
Drive community outreach strategies, including events, partnerships, and grassroots initiatives that build brand awareness and trust among Medicare-eligible populations strengthening the medical group’s brand and reputation as a trusted healthcare provider.
Lead team to build and maintain strong relationships with health plans, brokers, and FMOs to align marketing efforts with network provider strategy, and member growth and retention goals.
Ensure all Medicare marketing activities strictly adhere to CMS regulations.
Serve as a strategic advisor to Operations, Network Management, Staff Model and Clinical Leadership teams, ensuring marketing strategies are fully integrated with access, capacity, and patient experience initiatives.
Hire, coach, develop and terminate Marketing Department employees as necessary.
Ensure all safety-related policies are complied with by department members.
All other duties as directed by executive management.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field; or a minimum 7-10 years of experience in marketing management within Medicare managed care environment.
Must have strong initiative and follow-through traits.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Valid CA Driver License to attend local events.
This is an on-site position based in West Hills, CA.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $160,000 - $180,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, licensure, skills, and experience.
The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign‑on bonus and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
