POSITION SUMMARY
We’re looking for a talented digital marketing specialist to lead and grow Vistage’s social media presence. This role owns all owned media channels—LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, YouTube—and is responsible for creating and executing a cohesive content strategy that drives awareness, engagement, and organic traffic.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in social media, SEO, and content marketing. You’ll develop and distribute compelling content, manage posts, engage with audiences, and support our reputation and messaging across platforms. You’ll also collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align messaging and support brand goals.

This role will play a key part in launching an influencer and ambassador strategy and in contributing to blog and YouTube content planning. Experience with WordPress and blog publishing is a plus.

Excellent communication skills, creativity, and a strategic mindset are essential. You’ll help shape Vistage’s voice, grow our community, and support content initiatives across the full funnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Create, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)

Implement social media strategy and content strategy to align with business goals

Set specific monthly and yearly objectives and report on ROI

Collaborate with cross‑departmental teams (marketing, design, sales, brand, customer service) to ensure brand consistency

Create and implement an influencer outreach program

Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews

Oversee social media accounts’ design and positioning (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, and blog layout)

Implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions

Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications

Community Management – manage our online community reputation through engagement and optimization

Assist the digital marketing department with projects and initiatives as needed

Contribute to organic growth strategy including helping with SEO-related activities

Assist in planning new organic blog and video content

Help manage YouTube content and video strategy

Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES

A proven track record of experience in managing company social media accounts

Experience in blog content, whitepapers and WordPress

Excellent use of design tools such as Canva or Photoshop

Impeccable copywriting skills and an eye for detail

Hands‑on experience in content management

Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)

Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, SEMrush, Sprout Social and Meet Edgar

Understanding of online marketing channels and a full‑funnel marketing strategy

Familiarity with web design & UX conversion

Excellent communication skills

Analytical and multitasking skills

Budget management and experience with “boosted” content preferred

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

BS degree in Marketing or a relevant field

Hybrid in San Diego; 2 days onsite, 3 days offsite
