Account Executive – Pharmaceutical Advertising Agency
Job Description: The Account Executive executes daily account activities for assigned brand(s) under the supervision of the senior account lead. This role focuses on the tactical implementation of the strategic plan outlined by the senior account lead and the client, ensuring client satisfaction through quality work, demonstrating the value of our partnership and services, and responding to meet their business objectives.
Partner with internal teams to create client deliverables from initiation to completion, ensuring timely, budget‑friendly, and strategically aligned completion.
Proactively manage and organize ongoing program communications and resources, ensuring successful execution of annual programs.
Ensure all deliverables are ready for review prior to formal submission in Veeva and review by Medical, Regulatory and Legal partners.
Serve as the day‑to‑day point of contact for the client on tactical development and lead support for weekly client status meetings.
Mentor account coordinators and work with the senior account lead to foster their development.
Create, review and maintain job estimates and manage overall brand budgets—reporting updates regularly to the senior account lead and client, while adhering to financial and procurement protocols.
Work effectively in a fast‑paced environment with diverse personalities and remain adaptable when faced with challenges.
Support the internal agency team and client in preparation for major meetings or programs/events with regular timeline/milestone tracking, logistics and resource development.
Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years’ pharmaceutical advertising agency experience with a proven track record of successful client service.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience within the pharmaceutical or related industry.
Software: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) and relevant review platforms such as Veeva.
Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, solid understanding of science and healthcare, thorough knowledge of promotional review procedures, adept multitasking and prioritization in fast‑paced settings, meticulous attention to detail, and persistent follow‑up capabilities.

Pay Range: The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
