Job Overview
Senior Producer – Athletics, NC State University, Raleigh, NC. Responsible for coordinating, managing, and executing video production for live broadcasts, athletic events, and edited content for the NCAA Division 1 Wolfpack. Works under the Assistant Athletic Director, Pack Productions.

Responsibilities

Assisting in hiring and managing staff for audio/video display boards, network productions, and video board content editing, including temporary workers for events.

Overseeing all aspects of the video and audio control room operations.

Providing video and audio support for Olympic sports web streaming when not originating for ESPN/ACCN partnership productions.

Organizing and managing a digital asset library.

Supporting internal and external video projects and initiatives, including editing content for overall production success.

Technical responsibilities include:

Scheduling, managing, and directing all NC State Athletics technical productions.

Creating and assisting in promotional materials production.

Overseeing all production phases of video-based projects—conceptualization, scripting, planning, lighting, photography, sound recording, editing, and graphics creation, authoring, and producing.

Other Responsibilities

Working knowledge of Grass Valley Switchers, Dyno Replay Systems, Routers, Calrec Audio Systems, RTS Intercom, Ross Xpression Graphics, Daktronics Show Control, TSI Tally Systems, Unity Intercom, Dante Audio Routing, basic signal flow concepts, and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of ESPN‑required technology and workflows.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in Broadcast Television, Radio, or Emerging Media; or equivalent training and experience.

Preferred: Prior experience in video and audio production for athletic events; professional, organized, and efficient; proficiency in Photoshop, After Effects, Maya graphic software or related programs.

No required license or certification.

Valid NC Driver’s License not required.
