As we invest in elevating the quality and consistency of brand and content execution across our portfolio, the Consumer Experience (CX) team is seeking a Manager, Brand and Content Strategy with a passion for brand building, creative excellence, and building knowledge and skills across the organization that make great marketing possible. This role will define what "quality content" means for Georgia-Pacific, setting the standard for how our brands show up across every channel, owning the marketing capability learning roadmap, and driving the upskilling of marketers to fuel brand growth. The Manager, Brand and Content Strategy reports to the Senior Director, Brand & Content Strategy Capability.
What You Will Do
Own the development and ongoing evolution of content evaluation frameworks, channel best practices, and practical tools that brand teams use to assess and strengthen their marketing, covering creative briefs, campaign extensions, and content across retail and foodservice channels
Create and maintain case studies and reference materials that set a clear, compelling standard for what great brand and content execution looks like
Support the preparation and facilitation of brand strategy workshops, contributing to materials and exercises that push teams to think more boldly and leave with sharper, more actionable strategies
Own the planning and delivery of the marketing capability training roadmap, identifying emerging trends, shaping upskilling priorities, and developing workshops, e-learning modules, and inspiration sessions that keep the organization ahead
Lead partnerships with external organizations, including Cannes Lions, media partners, and advertising agencies, to develop inspiration sessions that showcase great creative and challenge our brand teams to be courageous in their content
Develop and facilitate training sessions and working groups that span the full range of Consumer Experience capabilities, including Media, Social, and Shopper Marketing, translating strategy into practical skills teams can apply immediately
Own and lead the cross-functional expansion of Living Our Brands, a flagship program that connects teams across the business to the brands they build, including training events, the annual Brand Building Summit, and integration into the sales organization and foodservice business
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree
B2C experience
7+ years of experience across brand management and/or advertising agency strategy roles, with hands-on experience writing creative briefs, managing agencies, and leading integrated campaigns
Experience working on ambiguous problems and developing a clear point of view
Experience building presentations and presenting
Experience leading and facilitating projects while collaborating across brand teams, capabilities, and stakeholders
Experience evaluating creative work or developing content standards, with a point of view on what makes brand content effective
What Will Put You Ahead
MBA or equivalent advanced degree
B2B experience
Exposure to brand positioning or brand architecture
Experience developing training or enablement materials and facilitating workshops
Demonstrated ability to develop frameworks, standards, or structured guidance that help teams do better work
