Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of advertising and e-commerce and offers advertisers a rich array of innovative advertising solutions across Amazon’s mobile and desktop websites, proprietary devices, and DSP solution. We believe that advertising, when done well, can enhance the customer experience and generate a positive return on investment for our advertising partners.

We are looking for a highly motivated Account Executive to join our talented team to help scale our growing Advertising program. Account Executives partner with category teams and other internal Amazon stakeholders to drive advertiser success. As an Account Executive you must be passionate about understanding the range of advertising products, the business drivers for performance, and act as a consultant to sellers and advertisers, enabling them for success.

Responsibilities

Build solid relationships with advertisers, displaying a dedication to delivering first‑class service and advertising solutions.

Flawlessly execute end‑to‑end campaigns, liaising with advertisers to align to advertiser priorities.

Effectively align spends for defined cadence (week, month, quarter, sale event).

Analyze campaign performance against key metrics to identify, recommend, and implement optimizations to increase efficiency, drive high renewal rate, and meet advertisers’ KPIs.

Keep regular track of defect metrics (e.g., high ACoS) and ensure a timely nudge to advertiser for course‑correction.

Monitor and communicate campaign progress to the advertiser through regular, in‑depth activity reports and insights, using this knowledge as a basis for future campaigns.

Track and own the Ad Revenue goals for the set of advertisers being managed and deploy different ad‑product strategies to exceed goals or cover a gap to goal if needed.

Leverage our suite of rich data, targeting, and product channels to collaborate with other teams in the development of tailored solutions that meet clients’ goals.

Co‑lead monthly and quarterly performance reviews with advertisers.

Drive operational excellence to ensure SLA adherence and client satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications

More than 1 year of experience in sales.

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

Experience in an analytical, results‑oriented environment with external customer interaction.

Preferred Qualifications

Proven ability to manage the business “by the numbers.” Must be metrics‑driven.

Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills; ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.

Experience working with SME retailers.

Experience with e‑commerce, digital advertising, or media.

Deep understanding of the retail and wholesale landscape in India with prior interactions with sellers and distributors.

Experience selling nascent (embryonic/start‑up) products/services into new markets.
