Job Title: Digital Media Support

Temp-Contractor Position

20-25 hours per week

Start Date: June 1 through September 15, 2026

Department: Communications Department

Reports to: Director of Communications

Salary : 1099 Required.

$17 - $22 per hour

Qualifications:
AA/Bachelor's Degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with content creation, social media, and branding.
Proficient in technology skills, including WordPress, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Google, video, and editing tools.
Ability to be creative, work independently and in a team environment, multitask at a high level, and meet deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:
Maintain the Talbot County Public Schools website so that it remains current, user-friendly, accessible, and informative. Suggest, develop, and implement enhancements to the website in collaboration with the Technology Department and outside consultants and vendors.
Collaborate with the Director of Communications in creating and implementing communications strategies for district-level initiatives, programs, and events.
Monitor school and department web pages for accurate, timely content and assist schools and TCPS departments with their pages as needed.
