Social Media Coordinator

Job Purpose:The Social Media Coordinator at DEACON JONES AUTO GROUP will play a crucial role in enhancing the dealership's online presence. This entry-level, part-time position focuses on engaging with the community through various social media platforms to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand visibility and customer engagement.Create and curate engaging content tailored to the automotive industry for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.Monitor social media channels for customer inquiries and feedback, responding promptly and professionally.Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing strategies.Analyze social media metrics and prepare reports to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.Stay updated with the latest social media trends and tools to ensure the dealership remains competitive in the digital space.Assist in organizing and promoting dealership events through social media channels.Required Education:High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.Required Experience:Experience in managing social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. preferred but not requiredFamiliarity with the automotive industry is a plus, but not mandatory.Required Skills and Abilities:Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to create engaging content tailored to specific audiences.Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools to track and report on performance.Creative thinking with a keen eye for detail.Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in using graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
