LB Capital is hiring a high-level Short-Form Video Editor who understands that content isn’t just about looking good, it’s about driving results.

We’re looking for someone who can consistently produce content that captures attention, increases retention, and performs across platforms. If you know how to engineer viral moments, structure edits for watch time, and think in terms of engagement metrics, not just aesthetics, this role is for you.

This is not an entry-level editing role. We’re looking for someone who can own the outcome, not just the process.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Turning Content Into Performance Assets

Break down long-form content into high-performing short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts

Identify and extract moments with the highest potential for virality, engagement, and conversion

Hook + Retention Engineering

Design scroll-stopping hooks within the first 1–3 seconds

Structure edits to maximize watch time, completion rate, and replays

High-Level Creative Execution

Add captions, b-roll, motion graphics, and sound design with intent not just decoration

Edit with a clear understanding of what keeps viewers watching vs. what loses them

Speed + Quality Workflow

Use OpusClip (or similar tools) to rapidly identify strong clips and create rough cuts

Finish content in Adobe Premiere Pro with clean, polished, professional execution

Trend & Platform Intelligence

Stay ahead of trends, formats, and platform shifts

Adapt content quickly to what’s currently working not what worked last month

What We’re Looking For
Proven Results (Not Just Experience)

You’ve created content that performs (high views, engagement, retention not just “looks good”)

Strong portfolio showing winning short-form content

Advanced Editing Skills

Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro

Comfortable using AI tools like OpusClip to increase output and efficiency

Deep Understanding of Social Media

You understand algorithms, retention curves, hooks, and pacing

You think in terms of performance metrics , not just visuals

Creative + Analytical Mindset

You know why a video works, and can repeat that success

You can adjust based on performance data and feedback

High Standards & Attention to Detail

Clean captions, proper formatting, safe zones, and audio balance are non-negotiable

You care about the final product like it represents your personal brand
