Subcontractor /Part time: Technical Content Author/Writer/Engineer - Automotive

Information Editor/Author Aleido China is now looking for talented people to support us and our global customers with creating automotive product information in the following areas:
Vehicle Owner's Manual
Vehicle Service and Repair Information
Labor Time
Wiring Diagrams
Diagnostic Information
S-BOM & Parts Catalog
If you have experience within the automotive industry and are interested in learning to create the information needed to support a vehicle in service, then we invite you to apply for the position of:
Information Editor/Author
Task(s):
Work proactively with OEM engineering (R&D) department to collect the technical inputs to start the content authoring.
Writing/maintaining the technical instructions (Diagnostics/Repair methods/Labor time/User Guides) and illustrations, Proof reading the technical publications.
Keep close communication with the client to review the developed content to make sure the content is accurate and delivered as scheduled.
Drive the process of content development from authoring, engineering review, editing updates to release.
Support the pre-sale activities and proposals.
Requirement(s):
College degree or above. Automotive Service/Maintenance is preferred.
3+ years' experience within the automotive aftersales service industry (or Workshop Service technician). Service manual/Diagnostics/User Manual/Parts catalog development experience is preferred.
Familiar with some of the XML editors/illustration tools/CMS and Authoring software. Expert in developing structured and reusable content using XML/DITA/S1000D is preferred.
High-level English language skills (CET-4 and above) and 1 year+ working experience using English as the working language.
Proactive communication both within the project team internally and with the client externally.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Process and quality oriented in the daily work.
