What We Need:

The VP, Partnerships is a high‑impact, revenue‑driving operator responsible for securing, managing, and expanding major media and streaming partnerships across our tentpole programming.

This role oversees relationships with partners such as Fox (awards), ABC (Jingle Ball), Hulu (festivals), and emerging digital platforms — negotiating license fees, ensuring cross‑promotional fulfillment, and driving incremental advertising revenue through integrated partner opportunities.

The ideal candidate is a person who can identify opportunities, create momentum, negotiate aggressively, and maintain strong relationships to build new pathways for content, promotion, and revenue.

What You’ll Do:

Partnership Development

  • Pursue and close new partnerships.
  • Identify and pitch new media, streaming, and digital collaboration opportunities.
  • Negotiate license fees and deal terms for awards shows, festival rights, and tentpole content.

Partnership Management

  • Own day‑to‑day relationships with major media partners such as Fox, ABC and Hulu.
  • Monitor partner performance, ensure delivery of promotional obligations, and advocate for increased cross‑platform support.
  • Manage cross‑promos and deliverables tied to content licensed by partners.

Cross‑Company Monetization & Advertising Integration

  • Work closely with Ad Sales to bring advertisers into licensed content environments (e.g., Hulu streams), unlocking clawback bonuses and incremental revenue.
  • Blend partnership opportunities into tentpole programming across the organization.
  • Coordinate across Sales, Content, Events, and Marketing to drive alignment and strong partner execution.

What You’ll Need:

  • 10+ years of experience in partnerships, licensing, business development, or media/entertainment strategy.
  • Proven track record negotiating complex media or streaming partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of cross‑promotion, content licensing economics, and advertiser‑supported distribution models.
  • Ability to cultivate and grow relationships with senior stakeholders at networks, streamers, and digital platforms.
  • Highly entrepreneurial, resourceful, persuasive, and comfortable operating without heavy infrastructure.
  • Thrives in a fast‑moving environment with shifting priorities; able to generate opportunities proactively.

Compensation:

Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job‑related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
