Position
The Marketing Coordinator will provide critical support to the Institute’s English-language communications, marketing, and creative projects across North America and in Israel. This position is an opportunity to work on diverse projects including SHI NA’s website, social media marketing and analytics, email communications, collateral design, and digital media. Success in the role requires strong attention to detail, strong writing skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this position is based in NYC.
Responsibilities
Campaign execution: Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies, including social media management, email campaigns, and content creation. Draft, format, and design newsletters, other email campaigns and social media posts.
Data Analysis: Use tools like Google Analytics and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to track campaign performance, analyze audience behavior, and produce reports.
Administrative Support: Coordinate email and social media calendars, oversee flow of media assets for podcast and video production, manage photo and video library, and maintain marketing collateral.
Collaboration: Work with internal communication and creative teams, programmatic and development teams, and consultants to ensure brand consistency and smooth functioning.
Qualifications
1-5 years' experience in marketing and communications.
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written; strong proofreading and editing abilities.
Prior experience with MailChimp or comparable email marketing platform is required. Working knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
Demonstrated experience in creating and producing digital content for social media; strong understanding of business social media platforms. Experience with Hootsuite, Google analytics, and SEO is a plus.
Knowledge about Israel and Israel-diaspora relations, Zionism, Jewish traditions, and the contemporary Jewish landscape.
Strong creative and branding sensibility, including ability to design and create marketing materials. Skilled in Canva. Adobe Creative Cloud experience is a plus.
Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com.
Able to prioritize and to work independently and proactively, with strong attention to detail.
Ability to produce highly professional work under tight deadlines and with shifting priorities.
Thrives in a dynamic, high-energy environment. Track record of demonstrating sound judgment and knowing when to take initiative, when to elevate problems.
Hebrew language competence a plus.
Good sense of humor.
BA or equivalent.
Salary range and benefits : $60,000 - $66,000 annual salary. commensurate with experience. Competitive compensation and benefits package, commensurate with experience.
