Social Media Manager

Literati, Inc., Austin, TX, USA

Job type: Full Time

Role Summary
Literati is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join our creative team. This role will focus on creating compelling content and engagement activations across all major social media platforms for an audience of parents and educators.

The ideal candidate will be resourceful, proactive, and an excellent communicator who is curious, positive, and wholeheartedly believes in our mission. This is a full‑time, exempt role with a salary range of $70,000‑$85,000 annually.

What You'll Do

Own and manage Literati’s presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, and Vimeo.

Ideate, create, and publish content—reels, carousels, static posts—using our templates and brand assets, including caption writing and on‑video copy.

Monitor, moderate, and engage with our community, responding to comments and DMs in Literati’s voice.

Collaborate with creative, book fairs, and product teams to align content with campaign calendars and key moments.

Track and report on performance across platforms using Meta Business Suite, TikTok Business Center, Zoho Social, and apply insights to refine strategy.

Pitch and occasionally manage giveaways and audience engagement activations.

Stay on top of platform trends, algorithm shifts, and emerging formats to keep content fresh and engaging.

What You Bring

2–4 years of hands‑on social media experience, ideally in‑house at a consumer brand.

Fluency in content production for short‑form video and carousel formats, with an understanding of what performs and why.

Comfort working in Figma with provided templates; confident assembling polished, on‑brand assets.

Strong writing instincts—capture a brand voice naturally, write human‑feeling captions, and vary tone by platform.

Proficiency with Meta Business Suite, TikTok Business Center, Zoho Social, and platform‑native analytics.

A collaborative, communicative style—keep team informed, ask good questions, and flag issues early.

Positive energy and a genuine growth mindset—curious, receptive to feedback, and eager to learn.

Experience with influencer marketing, giveaway partnership management, and children’s D2C or education brands (plus).
